ICT Office

It's final, I'm officially one of the staff of the newly established ICT Office. Yey! I've long since wanted to be a part of it, well, I am already, just wanted it to be official. I was designated as the secretary - part of the core team. Basically, I work hand in hand with the Director so it's quite an interesting work.

Aside from clerical work, I'm also part of the maintenance committee where we're assigned offices to maintain their ICT facilities, system analysis and development where I'll work with some three others to analyze the system needs of offices and as web editor, all I do recently is upload updates but it's already quite fantastic.

These are the types of work that I will do willingly and lovingly - no pushing needed - because I love learning new things. I love being able to think and work. I like being treated as equal and my views heard, even if I rarely speak. hehe.

And just this afternoon, I was told to prepare job order designating me as the campus coordinator, which is quite thrilling and pressuring at the same time. Thrilling to be given the honor but pressuring since there are a lot others who I know would be willing to be assigned as well.

It just seems funny though that there would be committtees where I, as secretary, am a member as well as being a coordinator. Which role shoud I assume if I'm representing myself twice? Lol!

Now I understand why some people write such long slashed designations when signing letters - it does exist. What about if I have to write something to the coordinators as a secretary... Should it go... Dear Mermaid.. Very truly yours, Mermaid? Already, this sounds so promising.
